An appeal to find two men wanted in connection with a burglary attempt in a posh Solihull street has been launched by police. Intruders attempted to break into a home in Lady Byron Lane in Knowle in the early hours of Friday (November 15).

They had got into the back garden of a house in the road, which has a series of detached homes, half of which neigbour Copt Heath Golf Club. They tried to force their way in. But were unsuccessful and then fled the area.

Now West Midlands Police has issued CCTV images of two masked men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. Both were wearing black caps, one with a black mask covering his mouth and nose and the other with a black mask with his nose and mouth both visible.
