Police have released CCTV images of two witnesses they want to speak to after a woman was attacked and raped in Brixton.

Two women who went to the LOCO Convenience shop in Coldharbour Lane may have seen the victim, aged in her 30s, after she was attacked on December 7 last year.

Stills show a black woman with a pram walking into the shop at about 6.40pm at the same time that the victim and suspect would have been at the cash machine outside.

She appears to look towards them and possibly engages with them, police said.

The same CCTV also shows the victim and suspect enter the shop at 6.37pm, with the suspect in conversation with a white woman.

The attack took place at an address in Brixton earlier that day.

The assault police were called on December 8 and an investigation was immediately launched.

These witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident, are urged to contact PC Julia Regan from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command at Sutton Police Station on 0208 721 4106 or by tweeting @MetCC.
