CCTV image released after purse stolen from Aldi shopper's handbag
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a purse from a shopper in Aldi.
North Yorkshire Police said they want to talk to the man following the theft from the supermarket in Whitby. A spokesperson for the force said: "It happened at 4.30pm, Thursday 12, September 2024 in Whitby's Aldi and involved a man stealing a purse from a woman's handbag.
"Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation."
