CCTV images released in 'significant' police investigation into Derby car thefts
Derbyshire police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a series of car thefts across Derby. The incidents took place across the city over a four-week period in October and November last year.
Officers say a "significant" investigation into the thefts has been ongoing by a specialist team of officers and it is hoped that the CCTV release will assist with these investigations. The man pictured is white, with a black branded baseball cap and a black jacket.
A spokersperson for the police said: "We are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a number of car thefts in Derby. The incidents took place across the city during a four-week period when a number of vehicles were stolen, or attempts were made to steal them.
