Darren Pollock was last seen on Braidcraft Road near to Corkerhill Road in Pollok at around 8.20am on Thursday, August 29. Police are continuing to appeal for the public's help in tracing the 42-year-old who they believe may have travelled into Pollok Park.

He is described as being 5ft6, of medium build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing light-coloured trousers, a white Canadian Goose jacket, a white hat and dark-coloured shoes.
Sergeant Fiona Weir from Pollok Police Station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned about Darren’s welfare and we are trying to piece together his movements from when he was last seen. Enquiries carried out suggest that he may have gone into Pollok Park and we would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him there, or anywhere else in the area, to please get in touch.
“We would also ask any motorists with dash-cams who were on the surrounding roads that day to check in case they have footage of Darren. He is known to take long walks and we are keeping an open mind about where he may be now.
“We would appeal to members of the public to keep a look out for Darren and report any sightings/further information to us via 101, quoting incident number 1998 of Wednesday, 4 September 2024.”
