CCTV released after Tesco worker's jaw broken in convenience store attack

CCTV has been released after a shop worker suffered a broken jaw in a branch of Tesco Express in Blackburn.

Police are now trying to trace a man (pictured) in connection with the incident. Officers believe he may be able to help their investigation.

At 9:30pm on Thursday May 16, 2024, the victim was working in the Whalley Road store when they suffered an attack. Their jaw wars broken in the incident, according to Lancashire Constabulary.

A spokesperson for Blackburn and Darwen Police said: "Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him after a store worker was assaulted at the Tesco Express in Whalley New Road, Blackburn.

"It happened at around 9.30pm on 16th May. The victim suffered a broken jaw."
