CCTV image released of woman wanted for questioning in connection with fraud

Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a fraud in Oxford.

The incident occurred near Barclays bank in Cornmarket Street at around 3pm on September 26 this year.

A bank card was stolen then subsequently used to withdraw £2,000.

Investigating officer PC Jessica Brandish, based at Oxford police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the woman in this image to please get in touch as she may have vital information about this incident.

“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220433822.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
