A Colorado Department of Transportation snowplow went off the road as high winds pushed snow squalls across Colorado on Wednesday, December 15.

This video, shot by Barry Stevenson, shows the truck on an embankment in Basalt.

Stevenson said the snowplow slid off the road during a snow squall before dawn on Tuesday.

“The driver … slid about 40 feet down a steep embankment close to neighboring homes.” Stevenson said. “The driver was not injured and walked away from vehicle.”
