Celeb chef Jamie Oliver's daughter 'could be deemed unprofessional' over nurse post
Jamie Oliver's daughter, Daisy Boo, has come under fire following her posts on social media about her experiences as a student nurse.
The 21-year-old, who recently completed a three-month hospital placement in Leeds, posted several details of her experiences on the ward on TikTok. She could be seen sporting a fleece with her name under the NHS logo while sharing an account of a "bowel evacuation" she assisted with, questioning her own comfort with the procedure by adding, "Why am I ok with this?".

In another revelation, Daisy Boo disclosed a distressing experience in A&E with gastritis an inflammation of the stomach lining which she attributed to a patient who allegedly threw a sanitary pad at her face, mentioning it resulted in fecal matter in her mouth and saying: "I wish I was joking but I'm not."
MailOnline raised concerns that the content of the posts could be regarded as unprofessional. The young student nurse also depicted the emotional toll of her job, confessing to "crying in public transport... when the reality of wrapping up dead people decides to kick in", accompanied by an image of herself in nursing scrubs that appears to have been taken inside a hospital.
Due to strict guidelines governing social media posts that relate to their work environment, NHS hospitals and training bodies enforce rigid standards. The Nursing and Midwifery Council warns student nurses that they risk compromising their ability to join the NMC's registera requirement for nursing in the UKif their behavior on platforms like TikTok is found to be "unprofessional or unlawful", reports the Mirror.
Daisy did not identify any patients, but the code stipulates they must be protected "regardless of whether you believe that there is a risk they could be identified".
An NHS source told the Mirror: "Healthcare students receive clear instructions on social media use at the earliest stages of training. Patient safety, respect and confidentiality form the cornerstone of our practice and students are expected to adhere to these high standards from the very start of their learning journey."
In April, famed chef Jamie expressed his pride for his "amazingly kind" daughter as she marked her 21st birthday. The father of five, aged 48, shares Poppy Honey, 22, Daisy Boo, 21, Petal Blossom, 16, Buddy Bear, 14, and River Rocket, seven, with his wife Jools.
Jamie took to Instagram with a photo of Daisy in her medical scrubs, captioning it: "Happy birthday dear Daisy Oliver! ! 21 today! ! ! Jamie Oliver has opened up about family life, hinting at the possibility of adding another member to their brood. Chatting with The Sun, the Channel 4 celebrity chef shared: "I am trying to move on to the next stage, but Jools keeps trying to drag me back! Seriously we would have loved a sixth if it happened. But we are so lucky to have the family we have and I am so happy. Exhausted, but happy."
