Fresh research by Next revealed that 25% of us start our festive decorating in November. However, the onset of December remains the most favoured time to trim the tree, with 41% of people opting for this.
The early decorators argue that kicking off in October enhances the anticipation of the festivities, spreading joy throughout the final months of the year. And let's face it, most Christmas adverts do start broadcasting in the first week of November.
They also believe that the lights brighten up the place and help spread cheer during the long, cold, and dark winter months.
However, some are steadfast in their belief that December is the prime time to get ready for Christmas, while others leave it until the eleventh hour on Christmas Eve!
