Celebrity Apprentice is making a return, with a brand new line-up of famous faces going head-to-head in the boardroom in aid of Comic Relief.

Lord Alan Sugar confirmed to Digital Spy and other media that "it's in production" and will air in March 2019.

The bill of contestants hasn't been revealed yet but, as usual, there are a whole load of rumours circulating – and we're here for, well, most of them.

Who are the new Celebrity Apprentice contestants?

We've been dying to get Davina back onto our reality TV screens ever since she walked away from her Big Brother presenting duties. Word on the street is that she turned down a spot on Strictly Come Dancing, but has decided that this charity gig is the one for her.

A source reportedly told the Daily Star Sunday that Davina was eager to get involved because "she loves the show and wanted to raise money for charity".

The Britain's Got Talent judge is said to have also signed up for the BBC series.

The Loose Women personality is in the running to join the X Factor team alongside hubby Robbie Williams, but it looks like we might be seeing a lot more of her riding solo too.

An insider is said to have revealed to The Sun that The Apprentice is one of Ayda's favourite shows and she sees it as "another great chance for her to build her public profile".

The former England manager is said to be another of the household names recruited to take part in the entrepreneurial game show.

The Daily Star claimed: "Many football fans will see it as ironic and possibly tragic that he's running around doing tasks for Lord Sugar when he could, and perhaps should, have been leading England in the World Cup."

Ouch.

Six years after he was plucked from obscurity on The X Factor – with that bleach blonde 'do, let's not forget – Rylan has become one of the nation's most-loved TV presenters. He has taken his mic skills onto the sets of This Morning and Big Brother, and has also competed in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

His name has been dropped a number of times in discussions about the brand new Celebrity Apprentice line-up, and we'll be disappointed if this particular rumour doesn't turn out to be true.

He's already brought his comedic value to Love Island: Aftersun and past coverage of I'm a Celebrity, so he'd be the perfect addition to a Comic Relief spesh of The Apprentice.

A firm-favourite on Good Morning Britain, we have a feeling that Piers Morgan would have quite a lot to say about his performance in the boardroom, particularly as he had his own shot back in 2007 (which kick-started something of a feud with Lord Sugar).

When does Celebrity Apprentice start on BBC One?

It is being worked on at the moment, and will air as part of Comic Relief in March next year.

The first celebrity version of The Apprentice kicked off in the UK back in 2007 with Comic Relief Does The Apprentice, featuring the likes of Cheryl, Danny Baker, Ross Kemp and Trinny Woodall.

The new series of the regular Apprentice starts next week, October 3, with a fresh batch of contestants fighting to impress in the boardroom.
