Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Is This The Confirmed Line-Up?

Celebrity Big Brother is pretty much the only decent thing about January and with just two days to go before it kicks off we didn’t think that we could be any more excited… until the “full list” of housemates reportedly leaked online.

And trust us when we say that it is a pretty ruddy good list.

The Daily Star claim to have obtained the confirmed names of the sixteen celebrities set to enter the famous house on Tuesday, with hotly-rumoured contestants being named alongside a few pleasant surprises.

Top of the list is former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook, her close friend and former X Factor contestant, Christopher Maloney, and TOWIE’s Gemma Collins.

And yes, we’re all hoping that she lasts longer than three days after her 2014 I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here breakdown.

Strictly Come Dancing professional, Kristina Rihanoff, is also said to be taking part, as well as David Gest, Nancy Dell'olio, Geordie Shore’s Scotty T, David Bowie’s ex-wife, Angie, and sacked Hollyoaks’ star, Stephanie Davis.

Former EastEnders’ actor John Patridge has also made the cut, with Ex On The Beach’s Megan McKenna and ex-Mr. Ireland, Jeremy McConnell Cooke set to bring the eye-candy.

Completing the line-up is UKIP’s Winston McKenzie, Darren Day, Jonathan Cheban, and US reality star, Tiffany Pollard.

Although the list seems promising, the identity of this year’s housemates will not be confirmed until they enter the house on launch night, although host Emma Willis did tease that this year’s line-up is pretty bloomin’ fantastic.

She said last month: “I do think this is one of the strongest we’ve ever had. When we had Lee Ryan and Jim Davidson, everyone said, ‘This is the peak, it can’t get better than this’.

"But they just keep matching it or doing even better with every series. They are so fantastic at getting the right types of people.

"There are a couple in there that I was so excited about, purely because of my own love of them in the past. Aside from people you may have loved in the past, there are just some great characters who I think will give TV gold.”

Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on Tuesday 5th January at 9pm on Channel 5.
