Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Kristina Rihanoff Didn’t Tell Strictly Bosses She Signed Up

Kristina Rihanoff has admitted she didn’t tell Strictly Come Dancing producers she had signed up to Celebrity Big Brother before going into the house—fearing she would be axed.

The professional dancer has been part of Strictly for eight years and is one of the show’s most popular dancers.

She said, “Strictly don’t know I’m on the show, I didn’t tell them. I’m not nervous that it affects my chances of returning.

“I’ve been on the show for eight years and that’s a very long time.”

Kristina’s long-time co-stars Aliona Vilani, who won the show with Jay McGuiness last year, and Ola Jordan sensationally quit the show after Series 13.

But the Russian ballroom babe is still hoping to return to the dancefloor later this year. If that doesn’t work out, she’s hoping CBB launches her as a TV star in her own right.

She added to The Sun, “Celebrity Big Brother will be a good chance for me to see if I like doing other things or TV work and maybe I’ll decide to do something else afterwards.”

On last night’s Bit on the Side, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood made an appearance and gave an insight into what fans can expect from Kristina, 38, on the show.

He said, “If anything riles her, she can be like the cold war from Russia. I’m not joking, she is so feisty!”

Note to Gemma Collins: Don’t cross Kristina!
