Celebrity Big Brother's Brandi Glanville and Paul Danan are given the boot in shock double eviction

Brandi Glanville and Paul Danan have become the fourth and fifth housemates to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The Real Housewife left first to a mix of boos and cheers from the crowd. Speaking to presenter Emma Willis following her departure, she appeared relieved to be leaving the show which she described as a ‘mental marathon’.

“It really is a mental marathon. You get to a point and you just break,” she admitted, before adding: ’"t feels like a year [since the start]".

Meanwhile Danan walked out to loud boos from the live audience at whom he blew kisses.

He told Willis he was disappointed to have left the show so soon, saying: “I wanted to go all the way. I wanted to make it to the final. Of course I’m gutted. I had the best time of my life.”

Both Glanville and Danan came to blows with several other housemates during their time on the show.

Most recently Glanville clashed with former Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle.

When asked about the conflict she explained she felt the source of the drama was Bogle wanting to own the kitchen space. “It does come down to really petty stuff,” she commented.

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old defended her decision to trash the bathroom with Jemma Lucy.

“If I want to have fun that doesn't harm anyone. If I need a minute of a little let go, because everyone else is having a mental break down it's nice to do something [...] it's not like we were hurting anyone,” she explained.

Glanville was very critical of Sarah Harding and Chad Johnson’s relationship during her time in the house, branding them 'fake', and only reiterated the sentiment in her exit interview.

The reality star also seemed to confirm Trisha Paytus’s accusations that Harding was receiving special treatment in the house.

“I just feel like how do you from one day to the next become completely co-dependent? There was some it seemed to me special treatment for her,” she said.

Danan was kinder towards Harding, but admitted she could be 'bitchy'.

"She's very vulnerable and she can get anxious [...] I like her and I get her and I know she's a good person but at the same time she can be a little bit bitchy and a little bit sneaky," he confessed.

The actor also addressed his feud with Lucy. "At that moment she knew where my Achilles heel was and she went there. You want to talk about my recovery, you want to talk about my family of course I'm going to react."
