Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts has addressed his surprise return to the show.

Sunday's (October 27) episode of Big Brother saw the housemates take part in the Totally Oblivious task, in which they had to keep Segun distracted from the strange occurrences in the house.

After the group successfully cleared the living room of balloons, David appeared in the garden dressed as a sunflower.

Big Brother then informed the housemates that they had to escort David to the Diary Room without Segun noticing.

However, David didn't make it easy for them as he took a detour to the kitchen and ate snacks from the cupboard, took a large swig of milk and added salt to their dinner.

Shortly after the episode aired, David took to his Instagram Stories to share how much he "loved" returning to the house, despite not being able to talk to the housemates.

"Buzzing! What an experience going back in there. PS Emma saying 'slay' was everything!" he wrote.

"I cannot believe I sat in the diary room chair again! I loved it so much. It was so hard to not talk to the housemates! PS thanks for the swig of semi skimmed slayers."

David's return proved to be a hit among viewers, with many taking to social media to share their excitement.

"Absolutely obsessed with David Potts arriving in a plant pot just to eat Lily's tangfastics and dance," one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

"That David Potts challenge was a classic," another added, while a third said: "Housemates dancing with David Potts in the garden then going on a trail through the house is the chaos we deserve."

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment: "David Potts swigging milk straight from the carton, dressed as a plant is such a mood."

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sunday to Friday, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
