Celebrity Big Brother’s Bianca Gascoigne speaks out on Jamie O’Hara break-up

Bianca Gascoigne has insisted her recent romance with Jamie O’Hara on Celebrity Big Brother wasn’t a “showmance”, despite them splitting just days after the reality show’s final.

The pair grew close during their time in the house together, but hit a rough patch after it emerged that Bianca had been dating cagefighter CJ Meeks on the outside before entering the celeb compound.

However, the two housemates managed to work through their issues after the revelation and continued their fling, with the couple regularly kissing and cuddling and even saying “I love you.”

Speaking following his eviction, Jamie gushed over Bianca in an interview with New! Magazine, saying: “She definitely has got that potential [to be wifey material]. She’s an amazing girl.

“I know she’s got her situation to sort out on the outside, which I need to respect. Whatever she wants to do, I’m happy with, but she’s definitely someone I want to have in my life.”

He added: “She said to me that she really likes me and she wants something between us, so I’d like that as well. I’d enjoy spending some more time with her outside the house and we’ll take it from there.”

After five days apart, Bianca was reunited with her beau Jamie as she exited the house on Day 32, finishing in sixth place – but the pair later announced they would just be friends.

“I think at the moment we’ll just stay friends, we’re going to hang out,” Jamie told Rinse FM. “I had a wicked time in the house but I’ve got loads on in my personal life – I’ve got my kids, I’ve got lots of work coming up. We’re just going to be friends.”

But now, Bianca has insisted that their short-lived romance was genuine, adding that the former footballer’s decision to dump her came completely out of the blue.

In a candid chat with New!, Bianca said: “All I can say is I am really disappointed. It wasn’t a showmance for me. I don’t even feel comfortable talking about it.”

She went on: “I’m really disappointed but I understand his decision and of course family and children should always come first.

“I wish Jamie all the best, he was a great friend to me in the house.”

Sheesh – So. Much. Drama!

Celebrity Big Brother will return to Channel 5 later this year.
