Celebrity Gogglebox line-up for Stand Up To Cancer 2024
A new cast of famous TV fans are taking up the remote control for Channel 4's charity special this Friday.
Celebrity Gogglebox is back for Stand Up To Cancer, with a new line-up of famous telly watchers kicking back on the sofa.
The Channel 4 charity campaign in association with Cancer Research UK sees some TV favourites recruit celebrities for special episodes to raise funds and awareness.
Friday's Celebrity Gogglebox will see a new cast of TV fans give their views on the best, worst and weirdest programmes of the week with the help of a sofa companion.
Here's who's taking part in Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer in 2024.

Josh Widdicombe and Stephen Merchant
The comedians were the first celebrities announced for this year's series and are sure to give a funny take on TV shows featured.
Widdicombe is more often seen teaming up with Rob Beckett for their Parenting Hell podcast, while Merchant's usual comedy companion is Ricky Gervais.
David Baddiel and Frank Skinner
Long-time collaborators Baddiel and Skinner have worked together on everything from TV shows to football anthem Three Lions and a celebrity special of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and they even used to share a flat at the beginning of their careers.
Skinner said: "I’ve been watching TV with David Baddiel for about 30 years. We used to laugh uncontrollably at infomercials and then Dave would actually buy the product. The only TV I refused to watch with him was stuff featuring me. He never laughed enough. Stand up to Cancer is an amazing cause and Dave and me, back on a sofa, seems a much better deal than cycling up K2, carrying a fridge to Istanbul or any of that other sweaty stuff that people do for charity."
Baddiel added: "I’m a big fan of Gogglebox, Stand Up To Cancer, and Frank Skinner, so this wasn’t a difficult yes. If we can raise awareness and cash to fight this terrible disease, then it’s worth the enormous effort of slumping in front of the screen with my old friend and saying some stuff."
Dame Kristin Scott Thomas and Saskia Reeves
They're usually seen together on the other side of the screen as Slow Horses castmates Taverner and Standish, but the MI5 staff look much more friendly towards each other as their real-life selves for Gogglebox.
Scott Thomas is best known for Four Weddings and a Funeral and The English Patient, while Reeves has also starred in Our Kind of Traitor and Luther.
Miriam Margolyes and Lesley Joseph
Margolyes and Joseph have been friends for decades and always have viewers in stitches, so Gogglebox fans will have plenty to look forward to in their pairing.
"When they asked me to do Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer, I thought, ‘Well, if I can watch television AND raise money for a wonderful cause, count me in!’," said Margolyes. "What could be better than that – and doing it with my brilliant old friend of nearly 40 years, Lesley Joseph? She’s wise and funny and knows everyone; a perfect partner in crime. Also, Stand Up to Cancer does vital work, and if we two old birds can help towards that - just show me the sofa, I’m all for it."
Joseph added: "What a joy it is to be doing Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer this year, as it’s such a vital cause and tangibly changes lives. And what fun it’ll be to sit and watch some TV with Miriam Margolyes. I’m sure she’ll have plenty of outrageous things to say, so I’ll be there trying to keep her in line – no easy task, mind you!"
Jordan Pickford and Tony Bellew
Sporting pals footballer Pickford and boxer Bellew complete this year's line-up, but despite being good friends Bellew insisted he would be getting final say on what they would watch.
He said: "Jordan better not be thinking of starting any fights over the remote – I think we both know who would win that one! It’s going to be an amazing evening – what a great chance to kick back with one of my mates and enjoy some of the weeks’ best TV, all whilst helping raise money for a good cause."
Pickford added: "I’m buzzing to join my mate Tony on our Gogglebox sofa for Stand Up to Cancer. It's not often you get to watch and chat about TV, while also making a difference. Everyone has been affected by cancer, so we wanted to do our bit to support this campaign which speeds up lifesaving cancer research."
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday, 25 October.
