Celebrity Gogglebox will air a special episode with 10 new famous faces. England goalie Jordan Pickford will be one of the stars sharing his thoughts on the latest TV shows alongside boxer and I'm A Celebrity favourite Tony Bellow.

The pair will team up for a Stand Up To Cancer charity special, due to air on Channel 4 on Friday, October 25. Eight other first-timers will also be hoping to entertain viewers, including Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, Miriam Margolyes and Lesley Thomas, Stephen Marchant and Josh Widdicombe plus actors Kirstin Scott Thomas and Saskia Reeves.

Jordan told the Mirror he was "buzzing" to appear on the show, adding: "It's not often you get to watch and chat about TV, while also making a difference - we wanted to do our bit to support this campaign which speeds up lifesaving cancer research.” Tony laughed: “Jordan better not be thinking of starting any fights over the remote – I think we both know who would win that one."

Black Country comic Frank Skinner, 67, said he’d been watching TV with his pal David Baddiel, 60, for the past three decades. He said: “We used to laugh uncontrollably at infomercials and then Dave would actually buy the product. The only TV I refused to watch with him was stuff featuring me. He never laughed enough."

Meanwhile Stephen Merchant, 49, who recently starred in the BBC comedy The Outlaws, added: “I don't usually allow talking when the TV is on, because I know how much hard work goes into making shows, so I try to give them my full attention.”

Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand up to Cancer airs on Friday, October 25. Catch it from 9pm on C4.
