Celebrity MasterChef 2024 spoilers follow.

Celebrity MasterChef has revealed the final two contestants who will be heading into the semi-finals.

Tonight's (September 6) episode saw quarter-finalists Vito Coppola, Mutya Buena and Dominic Skinner battle it out for a coveted place in the next round.

With one hour and 15 minutes on the clock, the celebrities were tasked with producing a two-course meal for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

The dishes were also tasted by a trio of former MasterChef contestants, which included 2023 semi-finalist Mica Ven, 2022 finalist Danny Jones and 2010 champion Lisa Faulkner.

Strictly Come Dancing star Vito took inspiration from his homeland of the Amalfi Coast, serving chicken escalope in a white wine, lemon and parsley sauce.

The dish received high praise from the judges, with John saying: "That chicken is so moist and wonderful, you don't need to cut it. It just pulls apart. I'd pay money for that in a restaurant. That for me is a perfect plate of food."

For dessert, Vito made lemon cream with a biscuit crumb, mint sugar and limoncello, which also went down a treat.

Up next was make-up artist Dominic, who served pink prawn toast and a sweet chilli dip for his starter, followed by bang bang chicken with blue basmati rice, broccoli and a trio of sauces. Despite his unusual presentation, the judges were impressed with Dominic's "brave" flavour choices.

Finally, Sugababes singer Mutya presented garlic butter fried prawns with a mango salsa, which the judges felt was lacking.

For her main course, Mutya served salmon fillet with a BBQ sauce, coconut rice and a mixed leaf salad. Unfortunately, the salmon was "overcooked", with the judges wanting "more sauce" to bring the plate together.

After speaking with the dining room, John and Gregg made the difficult decision to send Mutya home, with Vito and Dominic progressing to the next round.

"I've had such an amazing experience, so I am not hurting, I'm not disappointed," said Mutya after her exit. "This is further than what I thought I was going to get, so I'm happy to go home and sing."

Vito and Dominic will join Craig Doyle, Ian 'H' Watkins, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Rochenda Sandall, Jake Quickenden and Tamer Hassan in next week's semi-final.

Celebrity MasterChef airs on BBC One.
