Celebrity MasterChef star says they're "totally inspired" after elimination
Celebrity MasterChef 2024 spoilers follow.
Celebrity MasterChef has eliminated one more contestant after the stars had to cook for one very special guest.
Tonight's (September 12) semi-final saw the celebrities recreating favourite dishes by TV chef Ainsley Harriott, as well as making their own pizza.
It was make-up artist Dominic Skinner who had to hang his apron after his pizza base was deemed too soggy, though he said he would cherish his time on the show as it "totally inspired" him to be more creative.

All seven remaining chefs had to get their creative juices flowing during the two rounds as pressure was building up.
During the first challenge, Ainsley supervised the seven chefs, with Dominic joined by Vito Coppola, Craig Doyle, Ian 'H' Watkins, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Rochenda Sandall and Tamer Hassan.
Whoever managed to impress Ainsley and the judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace would become the Cook of the Day, and go straight to the next round.
It was Craig's take on Ainsley's bao buns with tofu, hoisin sauce and Asian slaw — "an envelope of absolute brilliance," as John put it — that won the Irish TV host the title of Cook of the Day.
Later on, the other six chefs had to make their own dough, tapping into their own pizza memories to create the perfect combination of flavours.
While some expected that Vito's Italian roots could give him a leg-up, he admitted it was the first time he'd ever used a wood-fired oven and felt the pressure of getting the dough right.
The Strictly pro dancer opted for a classic southern Italian white pizza with mozzarella, sausage and friarielli (a type of broccoli served with chili), and a ricotta-stuffed crust that won the hearts of Gregg and John, in "love" with the evenly cooked thin base.

Tamer leaned into his Turkish and Italian heritage with a classic mozzarella and burrata base topped with spicy Turkish minced beef infused with honey chili oil.
The judges also appreciated Rochenda's delicate dough with pear and pistachio pesto, blue cheese, caramelised onions and walnuts.
Meanwhile, Harry, H and Dominic all had some issues with their pizza dough, leaving John and Gregg to make a tough decision.
Ultimately, it was Dominic who had to leave the competition as his béchamel sauce prevented his pizza dough from cooking properly in the middle. After the elimination, he said that his experience on Celebrity MasterChef will help him get more creative in the kitchen, and could even bleed over his make-up artistry.
Celebrity MasterChef airs on BBC One.
