Celebrity MasterChef's latest elimination causes viewer uproar
Celebrity MasterChef spoilers follow.
Celebrity MasterChef has seen only three contestants moving forward to the quarter-final stage as Charlotte Crosby had to hang up her apron.
The Geordie Shore and Celebrity Big Brother star was eliminated in tonight's (August 15) episode, with Edith Bowman, Craig Doyle and Ian Watkins aka Steps' very own H continuing their culinary journey.
Charlotte's elimination came at the end of an intense round seeing the four stars divided into teams of two to create two desserts for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. As usual with MasterChef, the challenge came with a twist: only one in each duo had the recipe, with the other chef had to trust their teammate to replicate the dish.

Charlotte and Edith's lemon meringue pie didn't fully convince John and Gregg, while Craig and H's cannoli with chocolate and pistachio fillings were praised for their identical texture.
Later on, it was time for the quartet to have their very own The Bear experience as they headed to work in professional kitchens around London.
Edith and Charlotte went to West African restaurant Akara near London's Borough Market, while Craig and H were on tapas and paella duties at Spanish eatery Bibo in Shoreditch.
Pressure built up for both teams, with Charlotte being asked repeatedly to take another stab at her akara, a type of deep-fried black bean fritter served with prawns that gives the restaurant its name.
Finally, each contestant was asked to come up with their own dish for their unique food truck.

H honoured his Welsh roots with two types of stuffed flatbreads, chili-spiced Welsh beef and the other with feta and spinach served kimchi slaw and a minty yoghurt dip.
"They would sell," declared Gregg, who was pleasantly surprised by the spicy kick of the dish.
Edith's buttermilk chicken tortillas was deemed "fantastic," though John would have loved for her to make her own taco shells.
Craig served Hasselback potatoes two ways, one topped with smoked cheese and bacon crumble, and the other with chives and salsa verde.
Gregg called the dish a "favourite", telling Craig his potatoes "are exactly how they should be."
As for Charlotte, her potato gnocchi topped with cheese and bacon and a honey and chilli sauce didn't convince the judges. While the gnocchi were fluffy enough to impress Gregg, there was too little cheese sauce, resulting in the dish being a little dry.
"I just can't dip my gnocchi in honey," Gregg said.
The gnocchi cost Charlotte her apron, as she was the one who had to leave the MasterChef kitchen.
"This experience has definitely been one I'll remember till the day I die," she said after being eliminated.
On Twitter/X, fans of the show reacted with a mix of relief and sadness in seeing the uproarious Charlotte go, with one person writing: "I think we can all agree that it was the best decision...."
