Celebrity Race Across the World season 2 came to an end tonight (September 18), as the winning team was revealed.

For the last few weeks, Ted Lasso's Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen, father-son duo Jeff and Freddie Brazier, husbands Scott Mills and Sam Vaughn, and Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi have been trying to balance speed and budget as they raced across countries.

The final leg saw them go from Tilcara, Argentina, to Frutillar in Chile. Not only was there miles of distance between them, but there was the Andes as well.

Last week's leaders, Kola and Mary Ellen, sped ahead, although their money was incredibly low. The other three teams got on the same 20-hour bus before going their separate ways.

There was a mild panic for Jeff and Freddie, as they spent some of their remaining budget relaxing in a natural hot spring and missed their bus. Thankfully they managed to hitchhike with a couple who also told them the quickest way to get through the country.

Then there was a major panic for Kelly and Jeremy as their bus broke down in the night time, which had them worried that they would miss their exchange... and then discovered their next was two hours late due to an accident anyway.

In the end, it was between Kola and Mary Ellen and Scott and Sam to get to the final destination: the slopes of a volcano.

The editing made it look like both teams were set to arrive at the same time, but it was Scott and Sam who came first, two hours ahead of their closest rivals.

"When you open that book and there's no other names in it, there's no other feeling like it," Scott said. "It's the best... We've been there for each other, throughout the good and the bad. It just proves we're a good team."

"I'm so pleased," Kola said of finishing, calling it "one of the best experiences of my life."

Jeff and Freddie arrived third, while Kelly and Jeremy arrived last (21 hours behind).
