Celebs Go Dating airs Ella Morgan's health scare in new scenes

Celebs Go Dating spoilers follow.

Celebs Go Dating’s Ella Morgan shared a candid conversation with co-star Stephen Webb as she revealed she was hospitalised.

The E4 show follows a group of celebrities – Ella, Stephen, Jamelia, Chris Taylor, Helen Flanagan, Tristan Phipps and Lauryn Goodman – as they search for a potential new romance. The experts – Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn – help the celebrities along the way.

In Tuesday’s (September 10) episode, Ella – who has previously appeared on Married at First Sight UK – shared a FaceTime call with former Gogglebox star Stephen, explaining that she had been hospitalised after feeling unwell at the retreat.

“I’m in the hospital,” she began on the call. “After the retreat, you know I wasn’t feeling very well. The whole time we were at the retreat, there was something not right – I’ve been having issues for a while around my bowels.

“I was so unwell, and it’s not like me to tap out. I came home, and I’ve literally been admitted into A&E, and I’ve been here since. Having an ECG, having CT scans, and there’s something in my bowel that they need to investigate.”

Despite the news, Ella remained in high spirits after she revealed she had heard from new match Alex. She shared that the pair had been in contact after their initial meeting at the retreat, of which events were shown in Thursday’s (September 5) and Monday’s (September 9) episodes.

“The reason I’ve got a smile on my face is because I have heard from him,” she said. “He is what I need and what I want. He’s the full package. I said it would take a lot for my head to turn from Reece, and my head’s gone.”

Ella revealed back in July that she had taken a break from filming Celebs Go Dating whilst she was in hospital, though she shared an update the following week that she had returned to production as normal.

Celebs Go Dating airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
