Celebs Go Dating has responded to a report that Olivia Attwood wasn't actually single during her time on the show.

The former Love Island star appeared on the fifth series of the popular E4 programme not long ago, but The Sun is claiming that she had been seeing her ex-boyfriend Bradley Dack "throughout the series".

Digital Spy has reached out to Olivia's reps for comment, but the show defended her against the claims, clarifying that the reality star was single at the time of filming.

A Celebs Go Dating spokesperson told OK! Online: "The number one rule of the Celebrity Dating Agency is that celebrities must be single.

"Olivia was honest about her on/off relationship with her ex, and they were not in a relationship throughout filming.

"Olivia committed to the dating process, enjoying some fun and flirting on a number of dates. The only rule she broke was dating a fellow celeb."

The rule break refers to events in the series finale on November 8, which saw Olivia and Sam Craske confessing their feelings for each other and going to the finale party together.

Olivia provided many other great moments while on the show, including taking an awkward tumble on a date.

A sixth series of Celebs Go Dating has been confirmed, although it will be without dating expert Nadia Essex – who resigned following allegations of "improper use of social media".

Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
