Celebs Go Dating's Charlotte Dawson announces name of newborn baby son

Celebs Go Dating star Charlotte Dawson has confirmed the name of her newborn baby son, who she welcomed last week with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield.

Charlotte announced the happy news that she has named her son Noah on the birthday of her late father, comedian and presenter Les Dawson, revealing to OK! Online that she knows her dad would be "so proud" of her first child.

"Today would have been my dad's 90th birthday so I can't think of a better day to share the photos of our little precious bundle of joy: Noah Dawson Sarsfield who is one week old today," she said.

"He is a little chuffin' belter and weighed in at 7lbs 13 ounces and has kept me on my bunions ever since!"

Charlotte, who has also appeared on Ex on the Beach and Celebs on the Farm, added that she and Matthew are "so obsessed" with their baby son, saying: "Our world is now complete and we are excited to be a little family."

She also revealed that she is "loving watching Matthew as a father", saying that he and Noah "both melt my heart", and spoke about the absence of her late dad.

"I know my dad would be so proud," she said. "I just wish he was here but I know he is smiling down on us".

Charlotte has also posted a series of photos and videos of little Noah on Instagram, promising that she will share more information about his birth soon.

Charlotte and Matthew got engaged in September 2020 after four years of dating, with Matthew getting down on one knee in front of a statue of Charlotte's dad, who died in 1993, so that he could be present during the moment.

Revealing their engagement, Charlotte announced that her "fairytale came true" and said that she felt like "the luckiest girl in the world".
