Celebs Go Dating's Stephen Webb confronted over "worst feedback" in show history
Celebs Go Dating spoilers follow.
Celebs Go Dating star Stephen Webb has responded after being given what a Channel 4 social account described as the "worst feedback" in the show's history.
The reality star, best known for his stint on Gogglebox, has come under fire for his conduct on the E4 show, which saw two dates – Ben and Dean – both take issue with his "crude" behaviour, with the latter deeming it "inappropriate".
Monday's episode (August 26) saw the cast – which also includes Jamelia, Tristan Phipps, Helen Flanagan, Ella Morgan and Chris Taylor – reconvene for a spot of brunch, though it wasn’t all plain sailing as they would be given feedback by their dates.
Prior to the show airing, a post on the 4Viewers account on X/Twitter said that Webb would be seen getting "the worst feedback in the history of Celebs Go Dating".

Stephen, who had previously stated that he was expecting a "bollocking" from the experts for his conduct, was soon in the firing line as Dean gave him the dreaded lowest mark for their date, adding that he fully deserved zero marks.
"Stephen was overtly sexual," he began. "Innuendos from the very first minute. You said some things that were totally inappropriate to me… We were having a laugh and getting shots but you switched like that.
"When you thought you weren’t getting reciprocation in the same way, you then started to say I was 'boring' and you turned on me before trying to humiliate me," he continued, with Stephen interjecting to say the date was boring.
This drew a response from expert Paul Carrick Brunson, who said: "Stephen, I say this with love. But it is clear that you are selfish, crude and close-minded. You will not be successful in life if you continue this way."

Stephen, who separated from his husband Daniel Lustig earlier this year, remarked in the VT that he was "shocked" by the response, explaining that he didn't want to "offend anybody" despite admitting that he may go "over the top" with his humour.
Ben and Dean both remarked that they didn't think Stephen was a bad person despite the overwhelming negativity of the dates, with expert Anna Williamson consoling him after he opted to place his dating future back in the hands of the agency.
Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
