Former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright, who rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, have got married at a celebrity-packed ceremony in Suffolk.

Keegan arrived at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmunds in a 1976 white Rolls-Royce - but wellwishers were unable to catch a glimpse the bride as she was shielded by security guards with umbrellas.

It is thought the couple signed a deal with a magazine for coverage of their big day.

Brooke Vincent, Antony Cotton and Sacha Parkinson were among Keegan's former Street colleagues who attended the ceremony.

Towie stars James Argent and Lydia Bright, and Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher were the other famous faces seen arriving at the church.

Street star Catherine Tyldesley was unable to be there but sent the couple her best wishes in a tweet wishing them "an awesome day", adding: "Sorry we can't be there. So much love to you both."

Bridesmaids were thought to include Wright's sisters Jessica and Natalya, Keegan's stepsister Nichola, her cousins Gemma, Katy and Lauren, and her best friend Becky Hatch.

Keegan and Wright announced their engagement in September 2013, nine months after they started dating.

Keegan had previously been engaged to The Wanted singer Max George, while Wright had planned to marry his former Towie co-star Lauren Goodger.
