New Celtic kit 2018-19 revealed: How to buy the Bhoys' latest home shirt and strip

Celtic's new kit for the 2018-19 season has been announced, with the Scottish champions sticking with their traditional green and white hoops as part of New Balance's 'Only the Bold' campaign.

According to kit manufacturers New Balance, the strip boasts a 'bespoke tonal tartan design' with 'top shoulder bonded tape, woven club crest with embroidered star and a contrasting tipped collar.'

And as with New Balance's latest Liverpool kit, NB DRY technology has been employed to keep moisture (or the Scottish rain) away from the skin.

Club captain Scott Brown said of the new kit: "That moment when you first try on the new kit is always really exciting.

"Everything from the design to the inspiration behind the kit is absolutely spot on this year.

"For more than 10 years I have had the honour of pulling on the famous Celtic jersey, as a Celtic fan and player I can’t wait to play in this new kit and see how it goes down with our supporters."

The general manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum, said: "Every time we work with Celtic FC to design the club’s kit collection, we work hard to represent the iconic history of the club and their relentless performance on the pitch.

"This new kit is engineered for top performance on the pitch and to capture the history of the club and the fans that support it. It’s going to be great to see it on and off the pitch."
