Central line suspended after 'casualty on tracks' at Tottenham Court Road
The Central line has been suspended as emergency services respond to a casualty on the tracks at Tottenham Court Road.
TfL tweeted on Saturday just after 3.30pm that there was no service between White City and Liverpool Street due to the incident.
There were severe delays on the rest of the line, the statement said.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman told the Standard a woman was found to have falled on to the track following a medical incident.

TfL tweeted Oxford Circus station had been closed to exit only at around 4pm to prevent overcrowding but had fully ropened around 10 minutes later.

A BTP spokeswoman said: “At 15:34 on Saturday 22 February, BTP officers were called to Tottenham Court station underground station following reports of a casualty on the track.”
“BTP officers attended along side colleagues from the London Ambulance Service, where a woman was found to have fallen on to the track following a medical incident.”
