'Challenge' for Tesco Clubcard customers that could save them £100

Shoppers with Tesco could get up to £100 in savings with a Christmas 'challenge'. Selected members of the rewards scheme have been picked to take part in its Clubcard Challenges game.

BirminghamLive reports how this game is running between now and December 31 and once someone agrees to take part, they will get personalised challenges over the next few weeks. The Clubcard Christmas Countdown campaign is open to all UK residents who are invited to take part (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over with a valid Clubcard account, and who are a Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app user.

To be able to participate, customers must opt in by selecting 'Count me in' on The Clubcard Christmas Countdown enrolment instructions within the Clubcard section of the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app or by following the instructions in the invitation email. The Clubcard Christmas Countdown allows customers the chance to collect up to 6 rewards for completing individual weekly challenges by taking part in specific purchase-challenges instore or via Tesco Grocery online shopping.

The rewards amount will vary per challenge, up to a maximum of 1 reward per week for 6 weeks and 1 additional reward for completing all 6 weekly challenges. Tesco explained: "Customers that opt in to Clubcard Christmas Countdown will be entered into a weekly challenge throughout the promotional period to take part in. Each challenge will clearly state what the customer needs to do to complete the challenge and the reward for completing the challenge."

The UK's biggest grocer went on and said: "Once customers have made a purchase relevant to a challenge and within the challenges' specified timeframe, with a Clubcard either in-store or online linked to their Clubcard account, it will be counted, and the challenge will remain active until it is has been completed or has expired."

Tesco has stores in Hanley, Kidsgrove, and Longton with smaller 'Express' branches across North Staffordshire.
