Champions League draw: Who will PSG and Lionel Messi face in the group stage today?

Only Champions League glory will do for Paris Saint-Germain this season ahead of today’s group stage draw as Mauricio Pochettino has been given a star-studded squad - including Lionel Messi - to deliver glory.

PSG are hungry for the European Cup given their dominance of France, but the trophy has so far escaped their clutches despite extravagant spending.

The Parisian giants have, however, had one of the best transfer windows in the history of the modern game, signing Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Gini Wijnaldum on free transfers.

While those gold-plated contracts certainly won’t be free, PSG’s canny business means Pochettino now boasts arguably the best squad in world football with Messi joining Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in attack - but such talent comes with a responsibility to deliver trophies.

With the Champions League group-stage draw set to be held this week, here are the potential opponents for PSG fans to watch out for in Pots 1-4...
