Millwall boss Neil Harris is expected to make a raft of changes for Tuesday's derby against Fulham in the EFL Cup but Ryan Tunnicliffe will not face his former club.

Tunnicliffe is expected to return to full training this week following a broken toe but the third-round match at the Den comes too soon for the midfielder.

Defender Shaun Hutchinson (knee) remains Millwall’s only long-term absentee, while on-loan Ryan Leonard is cup-tied.

Harris is expected to make six or seven changes from Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at West Brom, with Tom Elliott, Aidan O’Brien, Jem Karacan and Jed Wallace likely to start.

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is also set to experiment after saying he wanted to “discover something new” about his squad following the 1-1 draw with Watford on Saturday.

Jokanovic made 11 changes for the second-round win over Exeter and Tim Ream could be among the players to come in after returning to training following a thigh injury.

Midfielders Tom Cairney (foot) and Neeskens Kebano (ankle) remain sidelined, with Floyd Ayite, Rui Fonte and Aboubakar Kamara, who scored twice in the second-win over Exeter, among the players hoping to feature.
