Made in Chelsea - 9pm on E4 - It's Christmas in Chelsea and Jamie goes to great lengths to get Sam Thompson in festive spirits following his break-up with Habbs.

Gogglesprogs Christmas Special - 8pm on Channel 4 - The UK's youngest TV critics return after a two-year break for this special festive edition.

The Undateables: A Festive Proposal - 9pm on Channel 4 - Catching up with some familiar faces and following their extra special plans to spend the festive season with their loved ones.

Don't Tell the Bride: Christmas on the Slopes - 10pm on E4 - Chilled-out Darren gets £12,000 and three weeks to organise a festive wedding that his bride-to-be Bronte will never forget.

Wednesday, December 19

Jamie's Quick and Easy Christmas - 8pm on Channel 4 - In this hour-long festive special, Jamie Oliver applies his quick and easy principles to the Christmas season, with recipes of just five ingredients.

The World's Most Extraordinary Christmas Dinners - 9pm on Channel 4 - This documentary explores some of the lengths people go to to make their Christmas days extra special, from the astronaut who'll be in space on the big day to feeding a submarine crew under the sea.

Celebrity Call Centre at Christmas - 10pm on Channel 4 - The Celebrity Call Centre reopens its phone lines for the festive season. Taking the calls are Debbie McGee, Nick Hewer, Steph and Dom Parker, Amanda Barrie, Sunetra Sarker, James Acaster and Gemma Cairney.

The Secret Life of the Zoo at Christmas - 8pm on Channel 4 - It's the festive season at Chester Zoo and the keepers are giving gifts to everyone from meerkats to miniature monkeys.

Friday, December 21

The Last Leg Christmas Special - 9pm on Channel 4 - Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker get into the Christmas spirit in a way only they could, joined live in the studio by special guests from Channel 4's Catastrophe, Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney.

Big Narstie's Big Christmas - 10pm on Channel 4 - Anything could happen in this festive special packed with big name guests, stacks of fun and some big, 'narstie' Christmas spirit.

Saturday, December 22

Extreme Cake Makers' Christmas - 4.55pm on Channel 4 - The elite cake makers return for a festive special, going to great lengths to make the perfect festive pieces.

Sunday, December 23

Escape to the Chateau at Christmas - 8pm on Channel 4 - Dick and Angel Strawbridge prepare for a magical Christmas at the chateau. The kitchen is bursting with festive family food, and Angel has a magical surprise for everyone at their special chateau party.

8 out of 10 Cat Does Countdown Christmas Special - 9pm on Channel 4 - Jimmy Carr hosts a special Christmas edition, as Sean Lock and Kathy Burke take on Jon Richardson and David Mitchell.

Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24)

Child Genius vs. Celebrities Christmas Special - 8pm on Channel 4 - Richard Osman presides over this special edition as Jimmy Carr, Rick Edwards, Charlotte Hawkins and Shazia Mirza go up against four of the most formidably talented competitors in Child Genius history.

Gogglebox 2018 - 9pm on Channel 4 - The Gogglebox-ers share their unique critiques of the year's biggest and best shows, including Killing Eve, A Very English Scandal, Bodyguard, and the royal wedding.

Made in Chelsea's Big Christmas Quiz - 10pm on E4 - Join Matt Edmonson and Mollie King, plus the entire Made in Chelsea cast, for an end-of-series festive special like no other, as the MiC stars battle it out to be crowned this year's Christmas Champions!

Courtney Act's Christmas Extravaganza - 11.05pm on Channel 4 - Global drag sensation Courtney Act celebrates Christmas in spectacular style with Leona Lewis, Little Mix and Zara Larsson.

Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25)

The Alternative Christmas Message - 3.50pm on Channel 4 - Channel 4's alternative to the Queen's annual televised message to the nation. The presenter is to be announced.

The Great Christmas Bake Off - 8pm on Channel 4 - Liam and Flo from 2017, and Jane and Andrew from 2016, do battle in the festive fight for the title of Christmas Star Baker.

First Dates at Christmas - 9.15pm on Channel 4 - Fred Claus and his matchmaking elves welcome some special singletons who have love at the top of their Christmas wish list.

Alan Carr's Christmas Cracker - 10.15pm on Channel 4 - Alan hosts an A-List Christmas extravaganza from his very own Alpine lodge, joined by guests Channing Tatum, Danny and Dani Dyer, Lily Allen, Sharon Horgan, Olly Murs, Russell Howard, Alesha Dixon, Emilia and Freddie Fox, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston, and Chris Kamara.

Boxing Day (Wednesday, December 26)

The Crystal Maze: Celebrity Christmas Special - 8pm on Channel 4 - Richard Ayoade guides a celebrity team around a special panto-themed Maze. Captaining the team is Christopher Biggins, leading Deborah Meaden, Jamie Laing, Frankie Bridge and Chris Kamara (again!).

Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2018 - 9pm on Channel 4 - Jimmy Carr is joined by Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding, Mo Gilligan, David Mitchell, Claudia Winkleman and Michelle Wolf as they battle it out to see who can remember most about the last 12 months.

The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds on Holiday - 7pm on Channel 4 - A one-off special takes eight of the young cast and their families for an adventure abroad in Turkey.

Friday, December 28

Rob Rinder's Good Year, Bad Year - 10pm on Channel 4 - Rob (a.k.a. 'Judge') Rinder casts an unflinching eye, razor-sharp legal mind and acerbic tongue over the events of 2018 to judge whether the year will be chalked up as being a 'good' or 'bad' one. With guests Ed Balls and Anthony Scaramucci(!!).

The Secret World of Emily Brontë - 6.05pm on Channel 4 - Two hundred years after Emily Brontë's birth, Lily Cole, who admires her work, explores the author's world and her ground-breaking novel, Wuthering Heights.

Britain's Wildest Weather 2018 - 7.30pm on Channel 4 - Telling the story of an incredible extreme weather year through first-hand accounts and eye-popping footage.

Big Ben: Countdown to New Year - 9pm on Channel 4 - As the famous clock tower is dismantled into thousands of pieces and for the first time in its history, sent away for repair, architectural historian Anna Keay has exclusive access to the unprecedented operation.

New Year's Eve (Monday, December 31)

The Last Leg of the Year - 9pm on Channel 4 - Katherine Ryan, Johnny Vegas, Nish Kumar and more join in the end-of-year fun with Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.

New Year's Day (Tuesday, January 1)

The Great New Year's Bake Off - 7.40pm on Channel 4 - Here, it's Kate Henry from the 2014 series, Dr Tamal from 2015, 2016 winner Candice, and finalist Steven from 2017 all hoping to impress the judges.

The Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited – 9pm on Channel 4 - Together again for the first time in four years, Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas, aka Will, Jay, Neil and Simon, are all on board for an action-packed, fun-filled celebration of 10 years of The Inbetweeners.
