What channel is Celtic vs Falkirk? Live stream, TV and kick off details for Premier Sports Cup clash

Celtic are back in domestic action this afternoon after Wednesday’s thrashing of sorry Slovan Bratislava and it's in a competition that will have a special significance to Brendan Rodgers.

The Premier Sports Cup is the only competition the Irishman suffered a defeat in last season, with Kilmarnock beating the Hoops 2-1 at Rugby Park in the first knockout round.

And while today's opponents come from the Championship, John McGlynn's Falkirk will be no walkover, with the Bairns boasting an 'Invincible' League One title from last season, and five wins from five so far this season.

Regardless, the Bairns go into this quarter-final tie as overwhelming underdogs but having worked under Rodgers at Parkhead previously, veteran coach McGlynn will be hoping to spring a surprise. Celtic though have yet to even stumble with seven straight wins across all competitions, and even though Rodgers is expected to give some of his fringe players an opportunity, they will be confident of another victory here.
