Kerry, Galway and Mayo all laid down markers on the opening round of the All-Ireland series last weekend. Now, it is the turn of the defending champions Dublin as they seek to do likewise when they clash with Roscommon.

The game is a repeat of last year’s round one clash with the Rossies claiming a surprise 0-14 to 1-11 draw in Croke Park.

Davy Burke’s were unable to build on that display and finished third in the group behind the Dubs and Kildare.

After being relegated from Division One in the spring, Roscommon lost out to Galway in the Connacht Championship and they’ll be under pressure to qualify from a group that also includes Mayo and Cavan.

Dessie Farrell’s men are expected to top the group after retaining their Leinster title with a workmanlike victory over Louth.
