It would appear after a short separation Channing Tatum and Jessie J have reconciled - with the actor jumping to the singer’s defence after a troll said his ex-wife Jenna Dewan “looks better”.

The couple were an item for around a year when they announced they had split shortly before Christmas.

Now the loved up pair have taken to social media with pictures of them kissing alongside saucy captions.

The Magic Mike star shared an intimate photo on Instagram showing Jessie kissing his cheek, while both are wearing inflatable unicorn hats.

He captioned it: "Gonna watch this unicorn sang tonight. Then we gonna get it in! Horns out!"

One follower was apparently not happy with the reconciliation and responded to declare their preference for Dewan, who was married to Tatum for nine years. The comment read: "Jenna looks better with you."

But Tatum didn’t take kindly to the comment, and jumped to his current love’s defence.

He replied: "Hey Alex I don't usually address s**t like this. But you seem as good of a terrible happy people hating thoughtless person as any of them. Why don't you seriously think about what you're doing? It's hurtful and I ain't about it.

"If you can't not be a horrible hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty and woman that Jess is... please kindly get TF out of here. No one wants you here. Especially me.

"And ain't nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex."

He continued to clarify he wasn’t declaring his ex-wife wasn’t beautiful, but it turned into something of an Instagram ramble by this point: "Jenna is beautiful and amazing in her own right. But no and I mean no one is more beautiful than anyone else.

“Beauty isn't measurable. It's in the eye of the beholder. So while all you infinitely beautiful people pour over these words and try and find s**t to start s**t with.

“I'm gonna be enjoying my MF night with my gorgeous lady and cuddle up in her beautiful heart."
