Yahoo News Chappell Roan Embraces Slouchy Menswear in Coordinating Suit Styles With Brandi Carlile at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles
While Chappell Roan might be known as the “Midwest Princess,” with a penchant for dramatic onstage ensembles, the singer swapped her bold, shimmering drag-inspired aesthetic for a slouchy twist on menswear for her performance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.
Roan wore a three-piece dark gray suit for the occasion. The oversize blazer featured three buttons and flap pockets. She paired it with a matching waistcoat and pleated trousers, completing her ensemble with pointed black dress shoes.

The “Pinky Pony Club” singer coordinated with Brandi Carlile, who moderated a discussion with Roan and producer Daniel Nigro about the creative process behind her debut album, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.”
Carlile, like Roan, embraced a masculine silhouette, wearing a suit in the same shade with a more fitted coat and a matching tie. The Grammy-award winning singer finished her look with menswear-inspired dress shoes.
