Avengers: Infinity War looks set to feature every superhero, anti-hero and background extra to have appeared in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie (probably not the last one actually), but what about the small screen characters?

Well, unfortunately for fans of the MCU's Netflix series, Daredevil actor Charlie Cox has said that he hasn't even been approached by Marvel to make the move to the silver screen.

Speaking at a Comic-con in Long Island (via Comicbook.com), Cox said being in a Marvel movie is "not a conversation that has been had with me, certainly.

"The truth is we're really busy with making the show and we love making the show and of course we had The Defenders and that took up a lot of our time as well.

"So, look, I think it would be a lot of fun and cool if they were to do that, but right now we're just concentrating on the show."

If you've seen the end of The Defenders, you'll know that The Man without Fear is currently out of action and recovering in a nunnery, which could make a cameo in Avengers: Infinity War out of the question from a narrative standpoint.

Speaking of the nunnery, Daredevil season three looks to be adapting the famous 'Born Again' storyline, which sees the return of the Kingpin and a How to Get Away with Murder actor in a 'critical' role.
