Charlize Theron And Sean Penn Split - Reports

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have reportedly called off their engagement and split up after a two-year relationship.

The Oscar-winning couple were last photographed together at Cannes in May where Theron was attending the premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road.

US Weekly reported that it was Theron, who recently referred to Penn as the love of her life, who ended the relationship.

The 39-year-old, who has a son called Jackson, started dating Penn in 2013 after the two had known each other as friends for years.

In 2004, the pair each took home a first Oscar, in her case for Monster, and in his for Mystic River.

Penn, 54, then won another Academy Award in 2009 for Milk.
