Charlotte and Jake got engaged last year, after he popped the question in very romantic fashion during a break in Dubai, as cameras for her hit BBC series Charlotte in Sunderland, were there to catch the touching moment. At the start of last month, Charlotte and Jake confirmed they were expecting a second daughter, with them having a gender reveal on a beach in the Maldives, with Alba by their sides.
After capturing the moment, former Geordie Shore star Charlotte wrote: "Another baby girl to love and adore……a sister for alba and a forever best friend. @jake_ankers it takes a very special kind of man to be a girl dad Jake and you are that very special kind of man. When I met you showed me things I had never ever felt in any relationship I had been in! Tenderness, peace, common respect, loyalty and love like no other! You inspired me to do things I never thought possible, you made and still make me feel like the most beautiful girl in any room we walk into."
Continuing to pay tribute to Jake and how happy he's made her, Charlotte added: "You comfort me on bad days and reassure me when I’m feeling insecure. Your vulnerability and how you are so In touch with your emotions is one of your most attractive qualities. You feel so deep and you understand and most importantly you listen.
"Thankyou for being this man the man our girls need to first hand experience in their lives…..the best possible influence for them and their best friend forever! You’re already an amazing dad to our little Alba, this next baby girl struck gold with you as her dad"
