The Chase fans accuse 'cheating' contestants of breaking rules with 'tactic'
The Chase delivered another gripping episode as four plucky contestants took on one of TV's sharpest minds in hopes of winning a substantial cash prize.
In the most recent episode of the ITV show, host Bradley Walsh oversaw the quiz arena where hopefuls Ben, 25, Reed, 77, Sue, 57, and Johnny from Leicester went head-to-head with Chaser Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan.
After an intense round of individual chases, only Sue and Ben made it through to the final chase, with plans to divide any winnings between them.

However, sharp viewers were quick to call out what they believed was unfair play. During the crucial final chase, Sue repeatedly said, "I don't know," instead of "pass," seemingly giving Ben additional opportunities to answer.
Displeased fans didn't hesitate to voice their opinions on social media, accusing the tactic of breaking the unwritten rules of game show conduct, as reported by the Express, reports the Mirror.
Twitter user @SomersetWasBlue questioned: "Surely calling out 'Don't know' in #TheChase final amounts to 'wrong person answer'? ".
Another comment from @Mysteron_Voice stated: "Actually *saying* 'I don't know' seems a bit cheaty though and perhaps should technically count as a pass."
Adding to the online debate, @AidyWhenImGood expressed: "I think it's cheating, surely you can't confer? " Meanwhile, @dailowe reflected: "I'd always assumed that saying anything without buzzing counted as a wrong person wrong answer Seems folks never did it cos it never occurred to them."
Some viewers stood by the pair's tactics, with one supporter commenting: "Not cheating if it ain't against the rules."
Bradley Walsh praised their approach on The Chase, remarking: "I'll tell you what was brilliant when Sue didn't know an answer you were saying 'I don't know,' and giving you (Ben) the chance to buzz in and pass or have a go at it, and I thought that was a brilliant tack tick. Really good."
Jenny Ryan also commended their strategy, describing it as "a really admirable tactical performance".
