Yahoo News The Chase is getting a new Chaser
Bradley Walsh has confirmed that a new Chaser will be joining quiz show The Chase in the next series.
The Doctor Who star appeared on Good Morning Britain this week and spoke about the longevity of the ITV quiz show
"It's accessible, people love it – it's 10 years old now," he told Piers Morgan.
"What can you say? We've got a brand new Chaser coming in for another new series now. It's all good."
Although Bradley refused to go into specifics, a spokesperson for The Chase has since said: "A new Chaser will be revealed in due course."
None of the current Chasers (the Governess, the Sinnerman, the Beast, the Dark Destroyer and the Vixen) are being replaced, however, and the new quiz whizz will make up an eventual pool of six.
Meanwhile, Vixen star Jenny Ryan is competing in ITV's debut series of The X Factor: Celebrity, having blown everyone away with her audition at Simon Cowell's Malibu beach house.
Jenny was initially eliminated from the competition by group mentor Nicole Scherzinger, but after a tidal wave of social media backlash, her decision was overturned.
The Chase airs on ITV.
