The Chase star Jenny Ryan updates fans on her Escape to the Country house hunt
The Chase star Jenny Ryan has given fans an update on her house hunting journey after previously appearing on BBC's Escape to the Country. Jenny and her partner Thom Tuck featured on Celebrity Escape to the Country in 2023, where they discussed their plans to move from the city "back home" to the countryside near Bolton with host Jules Hudson.
Jenny initially moved to London early in her career to pursue her dream of becoming a TV star. After joining The Chase, she made the city her home while continuing to film for the popular quiz show.
Fans of the show will remember that Jenny and her boyfriend were particularly taken with the second property they viewed, a charming Lancashire cottage surrounded by woodland, with good transport links for filming The Chase. Jenny had planned to arrange a second viewing of the £695,000 stone cottage with her parents to get their opinion before making an offer.

The episode was repeated on BBC One on Friday (September 13), but Jenny revealed on Instagram that she unfortunately did not buy the house. She explained that another buyer put in an offer on the property before she could arrange another viewing.
While she wasn't surprised that another house hunter snapped up the property, she quipped that "the search continues", reports Wales Online.
Jenny Ryan said: "So my episode of Escape to the Country was on again this week, and so many people have been asking me, what happened next. I think it's quite clear, if you've watched the show that house number two was the one that I absolutely loved.
"What I really wanted to do was to take my parents to have a viewing and see what they thought by the time we could arrange that, someone else had put an offer in on the place. I mean, it's a great place, so absolutely no wonder somebody snapped it up.
"Hope they're having a lovely time there. So for me, the search continues."
During the Escape to the Country episode, Jenny Ryan loved the property and its surroundings. She said: "I'm hearing the bird song now and I know my stepdad would be in his element here because he's a keen bird watcher. He's travelled the world looking at birds."
She added: "It's something that we've done as a family for quite a few years and it's part of that going back and enjoying nature.
"There's so much more potential for that, for sharing a new stage of life with this property, because it's got something for all of us and we can share it out more equally."
