A new ITV schedule shakeup has seen two popular quiz shows moved to later time slots. Tipping Point and The Chase usually air each weekday, beginning at 4pm and 5pm respectively.

But as more people are at home today, Monday, than usually would be due to it being a bank holiday, some broadcasters have added new programmes and films to TV listings. For example, today, August 26, will see the 1996 film Matilda air on ITV from 3.30pm, finishing at 5pm.

Tenable, which usually runs from 3-4pm, has been bumped from today's schedule, with Tipping Point then commencing at 5pm. ITV News will air from 6-6.20pm, before the channel's regional news, which will finish at 6.30pm, when The Chase will then start.

There'll then be Emmerdale at 7.30pm and Coronation Street at 8pm, as normal. This isn't the only change The Chase will see this week, as a new series will also start on Monday, according to TVGuide.co.uk.

In recent months, The Chase episodes shown on ITV have been repeats, as has the Celebrity Special of Beat The Chasers, which aired again on Saturday evening. Contestants included actress Catherine Tyldesley, entrepreneur Levi Roots, Liverpool comedian Chris McCausland and composer Rick Wakeman.

Tipping Point, The Chase, and Tenable will all return to their usual timeslots on Tuesday, August 27.
