Jenny Ryan, known as The Vixen on The Chase, was barely recognisable as she stepped out for a glamorous evening. The 42-year-old quiz whizz dazzled in a sequinned rainbow dress at an awards ceremony in London. She took a break from her demanding role on The Chase to attend the Silver Clef Awards.

Jenny joined other celebrities at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday night. She looked worlds away from her stern quizzing character, donning a sparkly wrap dress with an animal print pattern. Jenny paired her outfit with sheer black tights and chunky lace-up boots.

The TV personality sported lilac glasses and let her iconic red hair down, reports the Mirror. Jenny flashed a smile for the cameras as she posed for photos, accompanied by artist Thomas Wolski on the red carpet. The duo playfully flashed peace signs.

The Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards is a yearly music awards event that has been held since 1976. Big names such as Blur, who won the O2 Silver Clef Award, were among the winners at the ceremony.

AC/DC received the Legend Award, Chaka Khan was honoured with the Global Impact Award. Jessie Ware bagged Best Female, Loyle Carner won Best Male and The 1975 were named Best Group.

"The Chase" celebrity Jenny Ryan recently shared her experience with 'fat shaming' during a telephone consultation with her GP, expressing her dismay in a sarcastic tweet: "Isn't modern life great? " She elaborated on the incident, saying: "Your GP can now fat-shame you over the phone, so you don't have to waste time travelling and sitting in a waiting room before being made to feel awful about your own existence!".

Jenny recounted the conversation where her doctor inquired about her weight and upon hearing it, responded: "Oh... That's 'significantly' lower than last time, well done. Not good enough though, is it? " Additionally, she faced cruelty online when a troll referred to her as a "fat b***h".

In response to the troll, a member of Jenny's team replied with biting sarcasm: "Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Messages to this page are monitored by Jenny's admin team. We can pass on messages or answer questions. Thank you for your message. You seem like a decent chap which obviously gives you the right to body shame and demean women. Your loved ones must be really proud of you! ".

Two years on from these events, Jenny proudly displayed her weight loss journey on Instagram. She posted an eye-catching photo of herself at the Sunset Boulevard press night at The Savoy Theatre in London, looking dazzling in a satin green wrap dress, complemented by a bold necklace and her signature black-rimmed glasses.
