A cheese and gin night is coming to London for National Cheese Day

The nation’s favourite food and most-loved tipple have joined together for the ultimate evening of indulgence.

Gin fans and cheese lovers brace yourselves. A whole evening dedicated to the spirit and food is coming to the capital to celebrate National Cheese Day on 4th June...and it's gouda be great.

The mouth-watering evening will feature a number of gin tastings and each specially-selected spirit will be paired with a complementary cheese, courtesy of cheesy host Jarlsberg.

Throughout the event, guests will work their way through a three-course tasting menu sampling gins and cheeses from both the UK and Europe. While sipping on their G&Ts, they’ll learn everything they need to know about the juniper-laced spirit with talks from gin connoisseurs.

The brie-lliant evening will take place at the London Cocktail Club in Soho and will be hosted by food blog So Wrong It's Nom.

Thankfully for everyone wanting to get a slice of the action, the event will be rolled out on a monthly basis after the launch on National Cheese Day.

Annem Hobson, from So Wrong It's Nom and creator of the delectable Cheese Advent Calendar says the event is her “ultimate” night out.

She said: “I can’t wait to introduce each cheese with its recommended gin pairing and explain why the flavour and texture of the cheese perfectly compliments the botanicals in the paired gin.”
