Chelmsford stabbing: Four arrests after man found stabbed to death in Essex street

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was found stabbed in a street.

Police were called to Cromar Way in Chelmsford just before 1am on Friday, Essex Police said.

The victim, in his 40s, had suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital just after 2am.

Three men, aged 40, 53, and 59, and a 53-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 53-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.

An alleyway near Meteor Way has been closed as part of the investigation.
