Chelsea's Antonio Conte says playing after Tottenham isn't Premier League title race advantage

Antonio Conte has dismissed the suggestion that playing after Tottenham will benefit Chelsea on Saturday.

The Blues face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, by which time they could be only four points clear if Spurs beat Watford at White Hart Lane in the lunchtime kick-off.

Conte said: “I don't think it's an advantage (to know their result beforehand). There's always pressure, if they win, lose or draw. It's the same. You'll have good pressure, a good pressure.

“But it's very important for us to look at ourselves and not the others. Tottenham's result is important, but our results are the most important things.

“Have Spurs kept the title race interesting? I think so. I think so. But I repeat, I've been repeating this concept many times. This race is open. I think now I can see two teams, Chelsea and Tottenham, in this race.

"But anything can happen because there are 24 points and other rivals can go in this race.”
