Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Crystal Palace's Yohan Cabaye become part-owners of NASL team in San Diego
Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Crystal Palace's Yohan Cabaye are among investors for a new US football club based in San Diego.
The two midfielders are joined by former Chelsea striker Demba Ba and Moussa Sow of Al-Ahli to help fund the expansion side, which will compete in the NASL, the second tier of US soccer.

"We can't wait to get started and win some games," Hazard said in a statement.
"San Diego is a beautiful place and the love and passion the people have for soccer made this an easy choice for us. My friends and I are honoured to turn this dream into a reality."
Cabaye added: "It's unbelievable to be part of this project, and I just want to do my best for the club and for San Diego."
The as-yet-unnamed club will enter the divison next season, which starts in Spring 2018.
Home games will be hosted at the University of San Diego until they have a stadium of their own.
