Eden Hazard claims Antonio Conte improved him as a player within a week of working together.

The midfielder played under Jose Mourinho for two years at Stamford Bridge but has hailed the impact that Conte has had.

“Even after a week I think I had progressed with him,” said Hazard.“There are a lot of tactics.”

Hazard could make his first start of the season against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday after returning from an ankle injury.

Conte is expected to field youth players against Forest as he takes the opportunity to rest his regular starters.

Jake Clarke-Salter, Kyle Scott and Charly Musonda are among those in contention to start, while Brazilian Kenedy is still at the club after Chelsea failed to sign a left wing-back last month.

Pedro will miss the tie with an ankle injury, but could return in time to face Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday.
